From your window you can enjoy sunsets like that, and even norhern lights will be seen now end then during wintertime!

Dunhallin forms part of the larger area known as Waternish on the north west of the Island.
At this part of the Island you can find Skye’s oldest Inn – The Stein Inn, Skyeskyns- a working tannery, the Lochbay Seafood Restaurant, a dive centre and numerous local art galleries and craft shops. Dunvegan is some 5 miles away and has good local services including shops, hotels and restaurants and Dunvegan Castle with the world famous fairy flag.

If you walk across the croftland, you can find the remains of an ancient broch behind the cottage.

Nature lovers will enjoy the wild coast at Ardmore Point where various seabirds can be found, or a two hour walk to the lighthouse at Waternish Point
